Getting Started as a Creator (Part 1) — Choosing an account type

image (47)

If you’ve already made a Fanhouse account and you’d like to become a creator, you’re in the right place!

This guide is will walk you through the first step of setting up a creator account.

1. Choose your account type!

The first thing you need to do is decide what kind of access method is best for your Fanhouse.

Fanhouse offers two types of access methods. You can only choose one at any given time, but you can always change between the two.

Which of these resonate with you?

  1. “I want to use Fanhouse to post exclusive content for fans who pay a monthly subscription.”

If this is you, go to setting up a paywall account.

  2. “I want to use Fanhouse to get all my fans in one place. I may want to monetize too, but my primary goal is to nurture and deepen my fan community.”

If this is you, go to setting up a secret passcode account.

If you’re still not sure, we recommend starting with the secret passcode creator account — it’s the easier, lower-lift way to get all your top fans in one place.

Remember, you can always change these settings later!
