This guide will walk you through setting up a paywalled creator account for the first time.
Once you follow these steps, your creator account will be set up and your fans can begin paying a monthly subscription.

Steps to set up your paywall

If you’re a fan account looking to become a creator account, click on your profile picture on the top right and click on Creator Portal.

Read through the Terms of Service and Guidelines. Select I acknowledge all of the above., and click Start.

Click Verify identity. This will take you to a third-party website hosted by Stripe. In this step, you will be asked to show:

A driver’s license, a passport, or an identity card.

A selfie.

Set your secret passcode. Click Set passcode.
You’ve opted for a paywall account so this is just a temporary special word that your fans could use to join your Fanhouse for free.
You can make it anything you want (ie. your favorite color, a nickname, or just some random word). You can always change this passcode later. - Click Link payment method. This will take you back to a third-party website hosted by Stripe. For this step, you’ll need either your bank account information or your debit card information.
- You will be redirected to your Creator Portal. Under Profile and Subscriptions, select Access method and select Paywall. Hit Update.
- You can change your Monthly subscription price and toggle Multi-month subscription.
$5 is usually a good place to start, but you can change this whenever you'd like.
