How to promote your Fanhouse

Starting a journey on Fanhouse is an exciting adventure. We want to ensure that your page gains subscribers and gets the support you deserve.

Here are some tips to help you get started and make the most out of your Fanhouse experience:

1. Promote your Fanhouse at least once per week

Use your social media presence to promote your Fanhouse page by regularly sharing updates and information about your content, encouraging your followers to support you, and showcasing the benefits of subscribing to you.

If this is your first time sharing your Fanhouse, make an engaging post with photo or video media, like a nice photo of yourself or a screenshot of your Fanhouse profile, and let your fans know to subscribe to your Fanhouse and why.

For example: “Hey all, I just made a Fanhouse! I’ll be using it like my Finsta, posting all of my drafts there, photos of myself, and more! I’ll be replying to dms and accepting custom requests there. Come hang out and support me!”

We recommend sharing your Fanhouse weekly for your fans who might have missed your previous posts. Examples of social media promotions include:

a. Share an Instagram story or in-feed post directing fans to your Fanhouse

  1. This is a great place to advertise custom requests catered to your niche, like Q&A, selfies, video calls, personalized video messages, and much more.
  2. Many Fanhouse creators also choose only to respond to DMs on our platform — yet another example of a subscription perk you can promote on an Instagram story or Tweet

b. Use our in-app “Share to Twitter” button to share some direct tweets of your Fanhouse

c. Post a TikTok video

d. Mention your Fanhouse on your live Twitch streams

2. Add Your Fanhouse Link to Your Bio and Banner Image

Adding your Fanhouse to your bio or Linktree can help your fans find you easily on other platforms and continue to grow your Fanhouse account. You can also include Fanhouse in your banner image. This is a great way to promote your Fanhouse account and make it more accessible to your fans.

3. Use our Social Asset Generator

Our creator asset generator allows you to create fun, customized social media assets using your Fanhouse profile picture. To access the generator:

  1. In your Creator Portal underneath Profile and subscriptions, click “Asset Generator”

  2. Enter your username and select your background color and medium (either an Instagram story or post). You can also choose between a square or portrait resolution for your post.

  3. Scroll through the available templates and choose the one you like best.

  4. Once you've made your selection, you can download the template as a PNG file.

  5. Post on your socials!

4. Connect with Other Creators

Spread the word that you’re on Fanhouse and open to collaborating with your fellow creator friends and support each other! Collaborating with other creators can help you grow your Fanhouse page and expand your reach. Plus, it’s always fun to make content with friends!

You can also use your referral code to gain 5% of their earnings. To locate your referral code, navigate to the Creator Portal section and click on the "Refer and Earn Rewards" tab. From there, you can easily copy your referral link to share with others.

5. Offer a Discount to Your First Subscribers

To entice your loyal fans to join, consider offering a discount to your first 10-20 subscribers when you launch your Fanhouse page. You can manually adjust your subscription price whenever you want in the Creator Portal!

6. Provide Exclusive Content

Post special content exclusive to your Fanhouse. Give your fans on your other social media platforms a hint of what exclusive content they might find on your Fanhouse. This can help drive engagement and increase the number of fans in your Fanhouse.

7. Build an Email List of Your Fans

Keeping in touch with your fans, subscribers, and followers is crucial. Create an email list (OptiMonk, SendInBlue) and send them regular updates about your content and the benefits of supporting you on Fanhouse. Fanhouse also has our very own Community Information Sharing feature whereby fans can opt-in and share their emails with you.

By utilizing these tips, you'll be well on your way to building a successful and thriving Fanhouse page!
