How to use Custom Requests (Fan Edition)

Fanhouse is one of the only creator platforms that offers custom requests, which allow fans to pick and choose requests for creators to fulfill from a given list of options.

This guide is aimed at fans trying to request something from a creator. If you’re looking for the creator guide, check out Custom Requests 101.

How do I request something from a creator?

1. Go to the creator’s profile. Click on the shopping bag button.

   

2. Select a custom request. Make sure to include information so that the creator can fulfill your request.

   

3. This will generate a custom request prompt for the creator. The creator now needs to create a locked message with your content.

4. Once the creator has created the locked message, you can unlock the message. You will be charged when you unlock the message.

   

FAQ

Q: A creator isn’t getting back to me or fulfilling my request!

A: The creator reserves the right to decline any custom request. It’s possible that they are unable or unwilling to fulfill the request. Life happens. Don’t worry, you haven’t been charged for anything.
