Listen goals are a feature we designed for and with the musicians of Fanhouse.
If a musician has a song on Spotify and tries to hit a certain number of streams, they can rally their fans to hit a stream goal.
Here’s how you and your friends can support your favs through Fanhouse!
Steps
- Link your Spotify account to your Fanhouse account.
- Click on the profile icon in the top right corner and hit Settings.
- On the Settings page, navigate to Integrations → Linked accounts. Click on the Link Spotify Account button.

- Listen to the song and refresh the Fanhouse page. You’ll see your face under the progress bar and where you rank compared to other fans listening to the song.

What’s next?
- Get other people to listen to get your fav’s streams up. Share the Community House and encourage people to join.
- Screenshot the listen goal and share it on your socials. We encourage taking and sharing screenshots in community houses!
FAQ
Q: I listened to the song but the counter isn't going up. What's happening?
A: There might be a few things happening. Make sure that you've done the following:
- Linked your Spotify account to your Fanhouse account (scroll up!)
- Listened to the song for more than 30 seconds (this is what Spotify counts as a "listen")
- Waited at least 10 minutes for the counter to update (this is the maximum amount of time Spotify takes to check whether a listen has happened)
