How to claim the Fanhouse Fan role in Discord

Written by Fanhouse | April 18, 2023

Some Fanhouse creators have their own Discord server. Some of them have assigned a bot that assigns a special role to identify their Fanhouse fans on the server.

Here’s everything you need to know about claiming the role.

How to claim the role assignment as a fan
  1. Make sure you are following the creator on Fanhouse.
  2. Make sure that the creator’s Discord server has the bot set up. We have special instructions for creators here to teach them to set this up for their own fan community server.
  3. Link your Discord account to your Fanhouse account. This is how we check that your Discord account and your Fanhouse account belong to the same person.
    • Click on the profile icon in the top right corner and hit Settings.

    • On the Settings page, navigate to Integrations → Linked accounts. Click on the Link Discord Account button.

That’s it! The creator (or other Discord server manager) needs to manually run the /sync command to refresh their list of Fanhouse followers. Once they do that, you should get the role.

If you don’t receive the role after the creator has run the /sync command, let us know at hello@fanhouse.app.
